1. Sustainable Management of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)

This concentration strengthens civil society organizations in promoting sustainable and socially just development. UNPAR’s Development Studies program recognizes that strong, adaptive, and innovative NGOs rely on empowered, critical, and well-connected humanitarian activists.

  • Organizational management skills

  • Sustainable strategy development

2. Sustainable Smart City Development

A Smart City is more than just advanced technology—it’s about creating livable, safe, and competitive urban spaces. As urban development challenges grow more complex, collaboration between government, academia, businesses, communities, and media becomes crucial in shaping a sustainable urban ecosystem.

This concentration equips students with:

  • Urban planning analysis amid dynamic development challenges
  • The ability to harness local intelligence for community-based solutions
  • A balanced approach to social, security, infrastructure, health, welfare, and industrial innovation

Future-Ready and Policy-Aligned

The program stays aligned with the latest social developments and policy trends, ensuring that graduates not only grasp theoretical knowledge but also develop relevant strategies that align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Human Development Index, and Good Governance principles.

With strong insights and a vast professional network, graduates are prepared to contribute to smarter, more sustainable cities while unlocking career advancement opportunities in both public and private sectors.
